Leadership Tracking
Business Intelligence & Performance Management, AIESEC in SYDNEYMy goal for TM in 2016 was for it to become more data driven. By continuously assessing the state of our membership, we were able to base our actions off data and not assumptions. Constant feedback to TLs about where each of their members were at helped them to better tailor their leadership styles to empower each member to achieve, and increased overall LC productivity and engagement.

Integrated Experiences, AIESEC in MonashWe’ve had great success with IXP this year with 8 members approved for this summer so far, and 5 more warm lead. IXP is best led by example. Start with your EB. When our EB started matching, heaps of other people did too. Focus on converting warm leads, not attracting cold ones. Survey them at the start and anyone who says yes, follow up and keep them warm. For some weird reason, people tend to lose interest when after they’ve been selling exchange for a while. Catch them while they’re warm. Sell IXP as a special experience - find something special about doing both committee and exchange and highlight it as the ultimate package experience We did this through our FB group where we had past IXPers run LEAD sessions and try to create a community around people who’d experienced both exchange and committee
Celebrate the process of going on exchange and facilitating exchange hand in hand. We ran IXP campaigns in a way that highlighted the relationship between the EPM and the EP - cute fb posts of both EPM and EP. The message was if you can’t go on exchange, then facilitate it for someone else because it’s amazing and it deserves to be experienced. Also promoted culture of customer centricity, this way we were promoting IXP in a way that wasn’t ‘down your throat’. A similar message was conveyed with our EP party where members were able to connect with the leadership experience even if they weren’t going themselves |
Leadership Tracking, AIESEC in MelbourneThe Leadership Tracking Scheme (LTS) is a revolutionary tracking system implemented in AIESEC Melbourne this semester (Semester 2,2016). The LTS was born out of a desire to create a tracker that was both incredibly easy to use and highly beneficial for TLs and VPs. The features of LTS promote progressiveness - for example, tracking is split into three phases each with a carefully selected set of criteria in order to track members’ development over the semester.
Find the Tracking Presentation here Benefits: 1. There is one standardised tracker that now applies to EVERY portfolio, with the TM - TL relationship. 2. A tracker that is progressive: as every 3 weeks TM alongside VP and TLs changes the criteria of the tracking to ensure member is making progress. (i.e. week 3-6 KPI is number of stalls attended in, while week 7-10 kpi will be based on number of cc’s and then week 10 onward is about the number of matches) 3. A tracker that takes into consideration of a member’s performance and engagement (rather just on one criteria), our colour coding allows us to see: (i) When a member not achieving (ii) When they are doing the job (iii) When they are going above and beyond. |
