the stories this winter and summer that we get to make
That feeling of putting down your pen, handing in your final exam paper and marking another milestone of your degree has happened for some of you and is on the horizon for more.
While we file away lecture recordings, readings and assignments to another part of our brains for the next semester, the leadership development opportunities we’ve been working hard to create these past few months - in India, Poland, Taiwan and in our very own backyard - are starting now. What’s more exciting still is the idea that so many more young people who are yet to create a story through AIESEC this summer are also starting to be engaged.
If you’re reading this message, it means you’re a part of this picture too. As stories of culture-shock, discovery, impact and develop fill our newsfeeds, which will be the ones that make all the marketing events, process time strategies and value delivery preparation worth it?
If one story is able to mean this much, how can we use this time we have to make AIESEC work this winter and summer to make so many more of them real?

MARketing RESULTS
Use channel effectiveness data in your replanning!
As you head into replanning, use channel effectiveness data to best set your goals and define your activities.
What channels gave you the most Opens? And just as importantly, what channels gave you the most APPLs and APPRs?
If a channel gave you heaps of Opens but very little Applicants and Approves, then the message you're using for those channels are not attracting the right people - so how can you adjust it?
If a channel gave you a lot of Applicants and Approves but very few Opens, how can you use this channel to increase your volume, while maintaining the strong message which led to strong conversion?
Reach out if you need support!

ICX Results
ICX Weekly Priority:
a) Prepare for Replanning:
A new semester is coming. We have learnt a lot during the past 6 months and now it's time to improve our operations to get even more results. Replanning is a moment when we stop to think about our mistakes and learn how we can do it better. This doesn't mean that we have to stop our operations. ICX never sleeps!
b) Winter Sales Force:
Who are the members that will be part of your Winter Sales force. These people are responsible for VD if you have realisations or keep pushing sales during the holiday period. Remember that companies don't have this break and if we are free from Uni, we should utilise this time to get as many lead connected and meetings as we can.

mc 16-18 transition time!
MC Team 2 Team Transition ran from Friday to Monday, focused on learnings and conversations between the two teams that will allow MC Australia to be the best service body it can be for the entity, regardless of the term. Before MC 1718 heads into team building and planning starting this weekend, we have been finishing off our individual and team transitions through more practical means - attending product meetings, the MC team meeting, calling LCPs for input from your local entities and coming together with the Board of Advisors on Thursday.
Give MC 1718 members a shout and let us know what's important for AIESEC in Australia in your perspective - click for Adi, Jenny, Patricia, Kacper, Ivan, Lily and Jessie (we promise we don't bite ;)
