Exactly 2 weeks left until the end of October! These two weeks 100% define our summer peak.
How are you managing the talent within your LC to ensure that your goals are still on the way knowing that exams/EB selection is coming up? Rather than seeing these as challenges, how can we use this as an opportunity?
What can you do?
- Use your last LCM as a touchpoint to reconnect to the purpose and expectation settings for this period
- Ensure that you have goals set within this exam period that are relative
- Ensure that your members have individual goals and activities that they need to do! (work smarter, not harder)
- Do you have an exam taskforce or a liquid structure to allow for flexibility in achieving your summer goals?
- ACCOUNTABILITY. The best thing that you can be doing is ensuring discipline within the membership that even if they only do 1 hour of AIESEC during this period - that it gets done.

Step forward and make this peak one to remember, to topple our highest performance in 2015. 2 weeks to make all the pnf impact we can in exchange and finance. APPR as many EPs to make as much change in the world as you can. APPR as many EPs so you have a good VD period and see the impact when you send them all away to come back in 6 weeks and share their newfound leadership skills. |
As Finance, we need to ensure we get enough APPRs that support our financial goals to then deliver value to our EPs in the form of Standards. Cash flow will only go down from here as the APPR peak weans and the VD stage begins.
Time to take a look at your budget and make decisions on what to risk to achieve or whether you need to cut expenses, The money in our bank account is as real as our EPs - are you leaving your successor with more than you started with? Is the LC on track to be in a better state than you received it? Remember that we borrow AIESEC from future members and EPs.
