Doing our work for our purpose in AIESEC can sometimes become a day-to-day whirlwind, and it's easy to forget that we are just one organisation in a sea of many making it work to make PnF real. To step outside of this, one of my favourite groups of people to talk to are alumni who've left AIESEC in recent years - the ones who've experienced how we run for themselves, and are now in a completely different environment to compare and contrast.
From these conversations,I know that one thing I love and will miss about AIESEC is how fast we can move to make things real. In many sectors, larger organisations especially move at a glacial pace and it's amazing how much freedom we have to just implement and do shit for the world around us.
Know the emotionally complicated relationship Australians have with Vietnam? Do our part to ensure the world only gets more peaceful from hereon in and send more young people on a cross-cultural leadership exchange.
See some white supremacist activity happening around you? Do our part to ensure more understanding and acceptance of one another and send more young people on a cross-cultural leadership exchange.
We've been working over a month now because what we're doing for those 540 completed leadership development experiences we want to create for this summer matters for why we're doing them. More young people deserve to have an opportunity to get to know about AIESEC and apply for our projects.
Let's be smart and fast with our time - based on what's worked so far and what hasn't, how fast can we tweak our actions to engage enough people for #540Completes? What is going well with what we've done and what is there to be learnt and tweaked from it?
To ensure that everyone is on the same page, the TM EST will be running a Webinar on Performance Management next Thursday 31st August, 10pm.

In the meantime, we can become clever and lazy - lazy in the definition of being efficient. Like a quote from Bill Gates, get a lazy person to do the job and the job will be done in the easiest and sometimes the smartest way.
How can we also be like this? Throw away our doubts and just do the things that will make the biggest impact in this last week of August? Do it all but do it smart - find the shortcuts, the easiest ways, the resources that already exist and take minimal effort but gives you maximum results.

From August 7th until September 16th, we want to help you drive the right behaviour in order to achieve your goals in the most crucial months for our attraction and consideration stages. Let's get this flight off as we make our way to #540Completes
The incentive? Each week the MC will be doing different challenges based on the overall entity achievement. For this week, if 7 LCs or more achieve 60% of their Open goals for August, the MC will do the challenge set by UQ! :). The LCs with the most numbers will pick the next MC challenge!
