LANDING PAGES!
1) What are landing pages
There are three types of landing pages (that I can foresee at the moment):
LC Pages are the equivalent of a 'local branch' page on a national website of a company.
It should have information relating specific to that LC/university - e.g. on campus events, scholarships, and any specialised promotions relating to your market/timeline
Example: www.aiesecaustralia.org/local/uot
Campaign Landing Pages are for tailored campaigns.
Recruitment Pages would be something we discuss at our National Recruitment Discussion that Val sent an email about last Friday.
Ideally, we would have one National Page to talk about the AIESEC membership experience, and potentially we may have separate pages to explain in more detail what the JD/experience and process would be like if it varies per LC.
There are three types of landing pages (that I can foresee at the moment):
- LC Pages (pages specifically linking to your LC and your LC activities)
- Campaign Landing Pages for OGX/ICX campaigns
- [Potentially] Recruitment Pages for each LC
LC Pages are the equivalent of a 'local branch' page on a national website of a company.

- OGX example:
You're doing an SDG campaign and stick posters on bubblers saying things like "not everyone has access to clean water. do something about it." with a link
If that link goes to aiesecaustralia.org, that would be confusing af for those people who go there. BUT if that link goes to a page that explains the water situation further, the SDGs, and then provides links to where people can take action and also links where people can do a GV for it, then the customer experience will make more sense. - ICX example:
Say your target segment is to focus on Startups Expanding to Asia. It will be much more compelling if you have a landing page that has information specifically explaining how AIESEC can benefit these types of startups, previous case study examples of how this has happened, specific logistics information that they might particularly care about as startups, and even sample profiles that would be good fit for these startups.

2) How to create landing pages
For LC Pages
For Campaign Landing Pages:
For Recruitment Pages - we'll see what the outcome is from the National Recruitment Discussion :)
For LC Pages
- Here is a sample template: www.aiesecaustralia.org/local/example with the sample mockups here
- Send me a PPT/Keynote & PDF of your design and a folder of the images you want to use at [email protected]
- It may take up to 1 week for it to appear on the website (depending on how complicated your design is)
- Deadline by Oweek: 20th January
- This will also be searchable from the website too, so once yours is ready, people can click on this link as well
- There will also be a way for LCs to update this information easily with small changes (e.g. new events, different details etc) which I will show to the LCs who want a landing page :)
For Campaign Landing Pages:
- We will have national landing pages for each campaign (e.g. www.aiesecaustralia.org/yoyo)
- For LC specific campaigns, GetResponse has recently launched a new feature to make landing pages integrated with our website. I'll be investigating how to do this more specifically and writing out a process flow for it by 31st January so you can make your own more easily :)
For Recruitment Pages - we'll see what the outcome is from the National Recruitment Discussion :)
