our unique advantage:
run by youth for youth
This week's message is a bit different... experimenting with video haha!
I wanted to share 3 learnings from my trip in Melbourne, meeting with potential partners for the SDGs.
How can we engage youth and organisations to take action on the SDGs?
What youth insights can we show to create change?

oGC:
It's been a big week of Applicants and Approves over the last week. We're now headed into exam period, and we need to ensure that we maintain a strong sense of urgency for our EPs to Apply and get Approved within one week. On a national level we'll be holding Matching Manias to provide this sense of urgency, where EPs can interview for opportunities and get Approved right away. What else can you do during this time to create a sense of urgency for a final push?
oGT/E:
Great job for the Applicants and Approves! Our conversion ratio between APP and APPR is a lot better this year - from 4.9% last year to 6.1% this year, which is great! For a final push we need to increase the volume of Applicants we have, to make the most of this improved conversion rate. What messages can you provide to our Opens and EOIs to convert them to Applicants for a final push? And similar to oGC - what can we do on a local level to create a strong sense of urgency to finalise these Approves?
iGT:
Great job for the opens this week! We now have 14 opens across the country - lets get these approved in 2 weeks! Let's deliver our value in a professional & efficient way that maintains a strong relationship with our partners. The longer they need to wait, the less likely they will want to continue partnering with us!

What's been happening around the network?
Monash is #1 in the country for oGC Approves, getting 8 in the past week alone. And 100% of them have been to LC partners.
But how?
"We promote our LC partners as premium projects in coffee chats and other EP interactions, so they see them as high quality projects they want to go on. We also have a really clear process with our IR partners to determine their quality and get promotional materials from them." - Silvia Liu, LCP of AIESEC in Monash
Shout-out to Maria Tiffany Hidajat (left), IR Manager of AIESEC in Monash! Make it happen in your LC!
