With the new members in the organisation, the face of AIESEC in Australia is changing and we're ready to welcome it with open arms.
Imagine in the years to come, when you all looked back, you can recognise what a challenging yet rewarding time it was to be part of AIESEC in Australia in 2018, doing our best to get youth and companies as our customers, knowing that as 18-28 year olds, we were doing something every day to develop significant leadership through exchange and make a contribution to the world.
That the people who drove march momentum in 2018, are the people who also took our own experiences into our hands to use these experiences to develop ourselves from who we are, to who we can become.

For the rest, let's make sure we do the three most important things to focus on this coming months:
1. Continue spreading the word and generating more opens
2. Have a strong SOP that allows our customers to apply even if they just heard about us last week
3. Monitor the OP-APPL Conversion
KEEP ON THE GREAT WORK AND REMEMBER:
- Opens is just the first stage to delivering a leadership development experience - those opens mean nothing if they are not applying and we need to support them in doing so #CustomerCentricityAllTheWay <3
- You are the person responsible for making sure that everything happens, but that does not mean you are the one doing all the work. Members joined because they want to contribute and develop their skills - give them the opportunity to do so and don't try to do it all yourself! How can you make your work focused on their ability to do theirs? #ExchangeEmpowerRepeat <3

With all of us the progress of obtaining new members and inducting them, times are scary buys and hectic.
Have no fear though! As we just need to "JUST DO IT" - Nike / Nadia Kyme quote
We know how important it is in this time period for us to grind, even if we have no time nor Human Resources!
From the EST and me, we're delivering and support as much as we can, so you can focus on achieving and getting results, while the take care of the L&D and figuring out HubSpot as much as possible!
More sales needs to happen! we can't wait, as our customers who don't know about aren't waiting.

Me and Maggie (MCPe) we attended the event about sustainability and more specific issue - "over population in Australia" where Maggie was a speaker and she talked about our organization.
I contacted MCVP BD from Hungary, Japan and Vietnam to get more understanding about their sales and tweak our process.
I also reached out to Marketing Chief Director who I met at networking events in order to improve our sales process in order to get more meetings with companies
Me and Steph (Partnership Hacker, EST) started to reconnect with our alumni network.

It's been one month into your term! How are you feeling?
How are the operations going within your LC?
Remember what we talked about - your operations are a reflection of how well your people are given the environment to do their best work. Every single team leader in your LC needs to understand this!
Sit down with your EB and have a conversation about how to ensure the Team Leaders in the LC are achieving the MoS of their function through the individual achievement of their members.
With new members coming into the organisation, it's more important than ever to role model the behaviours that we want to see. 20% from social learning (team meetings, mentoring, o2os), 10% learning through formal education (@Hub courses, resources, LCMs) and 70% through practical learning (get shit done!). Don't give them anything less in their experience because that's what it takes to achieve the goals that we've set.
Call to action:
1) Absolute deadline for VPTMs/LCPs to take the performance management course: 28th February
2) Absolute deadline for ALL TEAM LEADERS to take the performance management course: 9th March
3) Stay focused. Who's making sure we're taking care of the pipeline? How are you ensuring iGT operations?
