catching your breath TO START SEPTEMBER STRONG
"If you're tired, then rest."
How obvious does that sound, and still, how many of us are so bad at implementing what we know to be good and true for us?
Sometimes, we need to slow down in order to speed up. Drink in what we've done. Recognise the progress on the road to achievement, what we should amp up and what we should cut down - or cut out. Whether it's a weekend of self-reflection, an afternoon of taking time for a hobby you love or even just a 15-minute breather, it's about taking a genuine pause to give us more energy to keep going.
The best way we can maintain that energy?
Focusing on what we can control.
"We're going to get 100 opens today!" vs. "I'm going to make sure my OCP knows what to do and that every member at the event is ready to talk to 30 people each"
"We're going to get 5 meetings next week!" vs. "I'm going to make sure my members follow up every three days with every company they've contacted"
"I'm going to get 30 applicants this week!" vs. "I'm going to to check with my TLs that all members know our process for contacting opens and are ready to do it"
We know these things - and we have the ability to choose to do them. Now, will we?

- Current average entity Conversion Rate from OPP-APPL is only 6.9% (from 01.07.2017)
- Review GvA with your VPs and create different solutions which can cover the gap and allow you to achieve goal for the next week.
For example: you can increase numbers of offline activities or you can come up with new offline activities and check how your VPs and thier structures review their GvA what is the outcome of this? Do they come up with new ideas or just review?

1. Trackers are filled out every 2 days (ICX Eps have a calendar invite to remind) No data means not knowing how to do better!
2. GvA Gap - Especially in August and going into September, we need to mind the gap and fill it up before things pick up

What's within YOUR control:
- Have the one2ones with performance review for those with goals set in August
- Have those one2ones for goal setting again in September (remember - they should align with the LC/Teams goals!)
- Get into the habit of having consistent monitoring and check-ins with your members
- Tweak your actions based on your findings!
To ensure that everyone is on the same page, the TM EST will be running a Webinar on Performance Management next Thursday 31st August, 10pm.

The incentive? Each week the MC will be doing different challenges based on the overall entity achievement. For this week, if 7 LCs or more achieve 60% of their Open goals for August, the MC will do the challenge set by UQ! :). The LCs with the most numbers will pick the next MC challenge!
