Hey AIESEC,
Happy World Kindness Day!
Imagine if we all do one random act of kindness daily... we might just move the world few steps closer to peace. So go out there and thank your pals for what they have done. You never know if that becomes the breath of fresh air to them when they feel like they're suffocating.

I was fortunate to have a great bunch of AIESECers alongside me throughout November 2017.
They pushed me to work hard in both AIESEC and uni by working just as hard, replying and initiating conversations (we had a no ghosting, must react policy) to drive action & engagement. They said "YESS LET'S DO ITT!!!" when someone in the team wanted to take action. They reported every single day at 10pm on slack on what they did AIESEC wise and academic wise so we can be each other's best support system whilst holding each other accountable to our AIESEC roles. They said "DONT GIVE UP IT'S NOT OVER YETTT" when we felt our operations slowing down more and more. They said "CAN DO" when others say "TOO HARD, TOO LATE". There were LCs that stopped working by November, but we fought on - because we are AIESECers.
They were proactive because inaction speaks louder than words.
Beautiful words on our annual report, inspiring discharge fb posts or "thanks AIESEC fam" insta post , nice growth% on expa could not compare to the thought of letting the LC and AIESEC down in the final 3 months of our time when the LC's fate was in our hands. Talk about "potential of the LC" , how about starting to take consistent action towards fulfilling it? Talk about "being responsible and accountable", how about starting to reply messages and following up on that EP & organisation?
Really, they are the best EB I could ever ask for, they taught me so much.
(and the summer task force + EB 2018 <3)
To this day I don't regret fighting hard for more exchange with them until the very last day of our term.
That was my EB's team legacy, what will your team do now to leave your legacy?
p.s. 100% open marked contacted & 100% EP assigned sounds like a good start ;)

Hello my OGX Peeps!
November is here and in full swing. Will you let the pressure of exams and life get to you or will you become the diamond that will create impactful experiences for young people? It's up to you!
This last week we're trying to focus on the key areas that we need to improve our operation the most. Is it following up and clearing our open pipeline? Is it making sure that we are converting our current pipeline of applicants and accepts? Take the time this week with your teams to really see what area you need to improve and lets get to work on those!
Key call to action: define which are of your customer flow it is getting stuck at, and put in the time to work on that area!
We're not done yet though, and it's down to the last moment for us this month if we want to grow as an entity!
So Call To Action:
- Follow up with everyone less than 48 hours! LCVPs assign yourselves and TLs as EP managers to support your EPMs to convert!
- Follow up with your Accepted pipeline! Confirm if they are still committed on going on exchange this peak or not, update their status and MOVE!
- Follow up with all of your "Next Cycle" approvals for the next peak! Contact them and provide information on projects that are already available

Remember remember the 6th (?) of November,
Bit of a play on V for Vendetta but y'know.
To you, my lovely iGT newsletter reader, how are you? Are you done with exams (if you had exams)? Still on the nonstop exam grind? If so, this is your reminder to just take a breather (wow not iGT related, how shocking!). No matter what you have going on around you, whether exams or otherwise, this is that part of the year that can really suck you into a black hole of overthinking and stress.
If we really care about our PNF impact, about passing this semester, about being the best person we can be, we have to recognize that being truly results oriented means that we have to take care of ourselves first. It's that classic saying: Put on your mask before helping others. If you're falling apart at the seams, how does that help you create the impact you want to see in the world?
Take it from someone who went through many trial and errors; don't pretend like your superhuman. Part of what it means to Embrace Pressure means to Take Care of Yourself. Becoming the Diamond means having a unbreakable conviction in who you are and what you're doing. So this is your reminder to take a breather, get some fresh air, go play with a dog (for me), and to recalibrate yourself on what your priorities are so you can go out there and save the day! (and don't forget to Follow Up, Follow Up, Follow Up!)

Just Getting Started
Tenacious Attitudes, Consistent Actions
Like always - tons happening on the team. We are currently in quarter review, and there's a lot to see of what has happened in the past 3 months. It's been an amazing learning experience to look at and understand the context, and create extremely strong way forwards for the next quarter. We are all SUPER EXCITED HEADING INTO SUMMER PEAK. We can't wait to see approvals change into realisations.
Our EST team - Chi is changing focuses. She's becoming someone more focused on PR. As AIESEC, we are focused on improving our brand and it can be improved when we get our name out there in the external market. If you know any cool events where AIESEC can be present, let us know!
On a more lighter note, as I do, every week, I will talk about a phrase or word from some part of the world so that we can be world citizens! So this weeks phrase is:
"faf"
Faf is an Slovenian slang word that is the Australian equivalent for 'bludging' (is that how you spell it?). So let me know who YOU think faf's a lot in the network. They better not be faffing because summer peak is here. Come on people! let's do this! As always - can't wait to hear this! (only between me and you. Please don't tell the other MC members hahahahaha)!
