Ask me which city I love the most, and I'll tell you that it's Melbourne. It's got my childhood memories, some of my favourite places and food and some of the most important people to me... including my ageing parents who tell me to come home every month.
For over two years now, I've been living away from the comfort, familiarity and more conventional life paths Melbourne offers me, because of the action I choose to take right now for the things that I care about. I didn't want to let my life in Melbourne become an excuse for not doing the things I am right now, enabling the Australian chapter of this organisation to develop youth leadership through cross-cultural exchange - and I don't let what I do here in Sydney become an excuse for not taking care of my life in my first home.
All of us are here. That's the first step. Nothing else in our lives stop for AIESEC, and AIESEC also doesn't stop for other things in our lives.
When we care enough about something to take a stand and responsibility for it, how can we let that shine through in our actions?

Hello!! We are three weeks into September! How do our people look like on the local level?
Demotivated? Unsure of what to do? Not sure of what they are doing at all? Burnt out? WHY? How are you using both the data and what people are saying to align your strategies into improving the environment/space for them?
In order to achieve your goal; GOAL = TASKS/STRATEGIES + PEOPLE
It is important to be able to communicate this with the team leaders of all functions (yes VPs and LCPs too) because without the people, the goal will never be reached. Help your team leaders to help their members by understanding them more and seeing how we can better improve our people processes. Remember, at the end of the day, TM processes are driven through every team leader in the organisation not just yourself. So how can you make sure what you're doing is being communicated clearly at every level?
Take action for what you really care about, because it's crunch time for our summer peak <3
