We've been in AIESEC for five years - that's seven exam periods spent as members, TLs, LCVPs and LCPs, and during this time there are two things we've learnt to be true.
1. Our lives don't stop because of AIESEC. It's so clear when it's coming to this point of the semester when we just want to pass our assessments onto the next and fulfil that important role as uni students.
2. The world doesn't stop needing youth leadership development just because of exams. After all, what is AIESEC but the tens of thousands of opportunities we provide young people each year to better themselves and the world around us?
How cool is it that through simple actions like getting in touch with these young people on time through messages, emails, calls, updating trackers and more that we get to move ourselves closer to the leaders we need to be in this period we need to best manage ourselves the most, to move them closer to that leadership development experience we promised them?
These truths don't cancel each other out, so how can we lead ourselves to choose both?

ICX Weekly Priority:
a) Follow up, Follow up and Follow up:
Not only continue following up your current leads, but also follow up the meetings that you have attended. It's really important to remember that after the meeting the sale is not close and we have to keep following up, not as often as we used to do it with Leads but at least every 2 or 3 days, with a call and an email.
b) Smart Sales:
After you attend a meeting you have a good or a bad feeling. If you know that this company is not going to close that contract only follow up once send what the ask and put that company on stand by, follow up every week. You have to concentrate your effort and time on the company that actually showed a strong willingness to partner with AIESEC.
If you are not sure whether the company wants to partner with AIESEC or not, do a few follow ups and sense their commitment to close as soon as possible if you don't feel a possible yes. As the sale person you know that you need to move to a better prospect.

ICX ACHIEVER OF THE WEEK
Cool things happening in the network
Shout out to all the LCs participating in the CX Challenge. It's a global challenge to get every single LC ready for the measure of success change from realisations to completes! Remember: we deliver standards to facilitate an inner and outer journey that develops the leadership qualities.
mc 16-18 transition time!
With just twelve days left until the rest of MC Australia 1718 arrive, both MCs are executing the final stretch of individual transition before team transition begins on June 16th and our last month and a half are spent working on delivering projects together.
Last week in transition, Adi set up and delivered his first IR meetings for summer peak, Patricia sorted out her June calendar for marketing activities and responsibilities with her predecessors, Lily and Jessie hammered out the first draft budget for the 1718 term, Ivan looked at our organisation as a whole to figure out what we should measure to drive our performance, Jenny started ICX process improvement and Kacper, back from his personal break in Morocco, is ready to investigate different partnership opportunities moving forward!
