taking what works and multiplying it
There are so many things out there that we can't control, and to try to do something directly towards them only brings frustration, dejection and helplessness.
At the end of the day? As much as we understand what a leadership development exchange with AIESEC can do to impact a young person and another part of the world, you can't make someone go on exchange - sign up to Youth Opportunities Portal, find a project, get accepted, approved and the whole shebang. You can't make a company take an EP with us. You can't directly make your opens, applicants... all the numbers that tell you you're closer to making PnF real, happen.
You can, however, influence these, with the things you can control.
1. Focus: what worked last week? what was missing?
2. Discipline: I can't always choose how I feel, I can choose what I do. How to just get sh!t done - talk to more people at my event? Contact more EPs? Call more companies?
3. Effort: How can we do more of what works and put effort into starting to do what we need to do?
This week - how will your outcomes reflect your actions and your choices?
#launchlearntweakrepeat and don't stop until we make it work to make PnF real.

MARketing UPDATE
It's an Open Partay!
Hello MaCs!

Our entity goal for AUGUST is:
7841 OPENS 1046 APPL
Our entity goal for a WEEK II of AUGUST is:
1568 OPENS 262 APPL
We're starting with new tracker so a little bit of explanation:
On the pictures you can find:
(01.07 - 06.08)
- Amount of OPENS overall
- Conversion rate from OPEN to APPL
- Digital sources of OPENs
- Physical sources of OPENs
- Total sources of OPENs (digital, physical, miscellaneous)
(31.07 - 06.08)
- Weekly goal of OPENs
On Thursday night we start our travelling so we will be out of office.
On the picture you can see our timeline and where we will be (Come say hi if you're in that city!!)
Kacper is starting his project and is organising focus groups in different universities during this month, so some of you got my message with explanation.
For this week: Keep going, keep growing! Continue doing the things that have worked, and do the things that you need to do to achieve your goal #Discipline #NoExcuses
We can't wait for you weekly goals ❤ Please remember to send it to us and update your plans with your EB.
Make sure that in your LC you have a person responsible and clear division of responsibilities for activities for OPENs and activities for APPLs. Who is responsible for contacting opens and assigning leads? Who is responsible for coordinating CCs? It varies per LC based on the strengths of each individual, not necessarily the portfolio. This way, you can ensure your synergy works and everyone understands what they are doing.
And remember #ItsAnOpenPartay

TALENT MANAGEMENT
Congratulations to Harry Yang from MU for being selected as part of the TM EST!
Harry will be responsible for developing the current TM processes that we have in AIESEC in Australia starting from focusing on: goal setting & performance reviews and then moving onto team standards and membership mapping. Be on the look out for national resources coming out!
How are you ensuring that you know what is happening within your membership and if your members are completing their JDs and goals set? How can you capitalise off the momentum that was created in induction to push for summer peak as well as translating this into their individual action plans?

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Why are we here? To work towards PnF
How do we do that? By developing leadership through exchange
Where do we start? Getting OPENS and converting them into APPLICANTS!
From August 7th until September 16th, we want to help you drive the right behaviour in order to achieve your goals in the most crucial months for our attraction and consideration stages. Let's get this flight off as we make our way to #540Completes
The incentive? Each week the MC will be doing different challenges based on the overall entity achievement. For this week, if 7 LCs or more achieve their GvAs on OPENS and APPLICANTS, the MC will play Chubby Bunny :). The LCs with the most numbers will pick the next MC challenge!
You can find the tracker here!
