PROXY ADDRESS
Hey AIESEC
I wanted to use my last address as MCP Proxy to highlight my favourite time of the year. So I was part of my LC for four years and during that time I can honestly say that Oweek is one of the most important times of the year. It's so much more then just orientation week or market day but it's the single biggest attraction event you can have in the year. How many other opportunities do you have in the year with the volume of people that ODay/Market Day brings you?
For us, without a doubt we would invest $500 into getting the best stall, spend a whole day training our members about how to collect sign ups and set clear individual KPIs on what our OGX and Membership Goals were. Everyone that was part of the LC needed to be at Oday, there was no excuses and as the EB we knew we had to lead by example. When I was VP OGX, the year before we sent 2 people on exchange in Winter and then in my year we had the goal of 20. It definitely wouldn't have been achieved if we didn't make the most of Oday and Oweek!
This single biggest attraction event can be the biggest win you can have starting your term. For us, 50% of our Winter Realizations came directly from ODay Sign Ups! Our first approves for the semester came within two weeks of that an within a month we had already grown from the previous year by 300%. These early achievements allowed our members to quickly see what we were striving for as an LC. That delivering exchange was important and hard work always pays off.
Reach out if you want to hear more!
Keen to see who will beat me and Josh's sign up record of 80 sign ups each on ODAY itself
Just do it!
You only ever get out what you put in.

OGX
MAC:
- It's O'Week! The best week of the year :D This is where you're going to get a whole heap of Opens, so make it count
- You've got the National Recruitment Campaign and National OGX Campaign to promote at O'Week - focus on how you can turn both these campaigns into great physical stalls to attract people
- Sign everyone up onto aiesecaustralia.org/signup - this automatically signs them up onto OP, and also allows me to export their contact details everyday. From there you can email all these Opens about both Recruitment and Exchange, so you won't miss anyone :D Plus, everyone will be an Open so will get information about using OP and could end up going on exchange even if they didn't originally intend to ;)
- RIS is also happening - reach out if you want feedback on your agenda, and make sure it adheres to the RIS Standards! (VP MaC's, you know what this is)
OGX
- Education to the whole LC about OGX products and projects that will be available
- Check out the national projects we will be promoting from Taiwan, India, China, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Mexico, Peru, Poland here & poster below!
- We have projects out for Winter already! and ALSO Summer (no excuses- let's get approves)
- The focus is all about marketing and sales training about projects on offer
ICX Results
ICX 3 Weekly Priorities:
1) Lead Generation: Create our list of companies based on Local Market research. Understand this companies in terms of Demographic and Psychographic information. The National Deadline to have Lead Generation done is the 28th of February if after this date your list is not done your operation timeline will be delayed.
2) Sales Materials Preparation: To give a good induction to your members on how to be a Sales Manager we have to provide all materials regarding our process and activities. Clarity on sales will make our team learn based on experience and not based on how many trainings they attend.
3) First Team moment: It is really important to prepare a retreat with your team. In this space you can explain your Dreams for ICX, create your vision/mission as a team, explain plan, goals, small training and bond as a team. This space could be your only training (Lecture) for your team. The rest of them could be practical training (more explanation in our chat).
You can assign timeline and responsible for these priorities, they don't have to be 100% on you.
