Las week was SUPER hectic for the entire MC team.
We were preparing and running entity review with Regional Office and October Presidents Meeting (OPM).
On top of needing to keep operations afloat, we needed to make sure that these important touchpoints are delivered so that ..
1. Entity review: our MC can recalibrate as a team. Our national strategies and plans are refreshed and clearer so we can improve our entity performance.
2. OPM: our LCP currents and LCP elects and MC can learn how to work better together and play our individual roles better to GROW this entity. Give your LCP current and elect a big pat on the back for the good work they've done so far!
OUR LEARNINGS FROM OCTOBER PRESDIENTS MEETING
PANDA (LCP 2018 QUT): biggest learning: being a lcp is never easy, in fact, being in any position will not be easy. How you gonna make it, will make it worth it
ASHLEIGH (LCP 2018 CURTIN):The past 3 days was intense, refreshing and powerful. As a member of the NLT it allowed me to reconnect to the main thing we do and how our every day smart actions is how we can hustle to achieve summer together!
CHUA (LCP 2019 MU): My biggest learning is that the most important trait a leader need is self awareness, as understanding about yourself enables you to utilize your strengths for the team and to select a team that compliments you well.
What I learned is that despite all the challenges we experience day to day, it's important to remember to step back, connect with the people fighting alongside you and step back into the day to day hustle! In the mean time to not forget to enjoy your time here!

Actober Week 2! Gotta get all of those Approved EPs! What actions are you taking this week to make sure we are are achieving our goal? What support do you need? How do we work together to make it happen?
The MC team just finished October Presidents Meeting and there's a lot of output and feedback from the network on how we can grow and improve for the rest of October. Several things that we looked at during this last weekend were inputs from you guys regarding how we implement our operating procedures, to how we can change up our touchpoints and eduction to make sure we achieve our goals for Actober! Expect to see some of this stuff coming out to the network during this upcoming week, but in the mean time our lovely EST has updated more information on the OGV LnD, so if you need any information, visit the LnD tool below

Ye ye ye, happy 2nd week of ACTOBER! This is such an incredible month for operations and for growth, but only if you choose to take advantage of it!
My message will be short and sweet this week, because ultimately the most important message for this week is this:
If you're putting in the effort but you're not hitting the results, then something needs to change.
How much ownership will you take over your achievement? I'm not saying you're not working hard or that there aren't external challenges, but while you can be honest about your external reality, you must always understand that you can't settle for reality. Be ceaseless with your personal drive to look reality in face and say "fuck it, I'm going to fight for PNF".
Not hitting your results? Be proactive with your ownership and talk to your team leader (TL or VP) and figure it out. #TenaciousAttitudes #ConsistentActions will be your left and right punch to winning your iGT PNF impact.

Last week we discussed how to apply the right kind of effort in the right places. This week, I want to talk about a fantastic group of people who want to create solid, foundational strategies that will help AIESEC in Australia be tenacious and achieve the best possible potential it can!
EST beauty Chi is setting up tons of meetings in the coming months with alumni. Can't wait to meet some of these cool ass people, ask them their experiences in AIESEC, share my AIESEC stories, and see how we can engage them more in the network. ;) If you know any alumni, please recommend them and we can see how we can partner with them - I think it will be cool!
On a more lighter note, as I do, every week, I will talk about a phrase or word from some part of the world so that we can be world citizens! So this weeks phrase is:
"Maccas"
This is an Australian slang that is used instead of McDonalds...Now you must be wondering why I'm putting this here!?? Tbh, this relates to what I was talking about as a 'final sprint'. Listen up people! MACCAS MONOPOLY ends on October 31st, so what I'm going to ask is if you ever eat from Maccas, and have Monopoly tickets, please SEND A PICTURE OF THE TICKETS TO ME. Come on people! let's do this! As always - can't wait to hear this! (only between me and you. Please don't tell the other MC members hahahahaha)!
