customer-intimacy is not a strategy, its an outcome of taking care of our people!
A report by Gallup states that 75% of workers who voluntarily left their jobs did so because of their bosses and not the position or the organisation itself. So why am I showing you this info-graphic... in March?
March is the month new members start joining the organisation... as we as members staying on from last year are allocated into their new roles for another year!
As leaders of your organisation, how are you supporting the AIESEC experience of your members from the very start? How are you maximising their potential to serve other youth and facilitate their leadership development?
And no, I don't mean how are you making sure your members are having lots of bonding time eating pizzas. Think about a time you felt happy and fulfilled with your membership experience. Was it when you delivered a great campaign? Was it when you saw an EP come back from their exchange? Was it when you saw your member achieve something they never thought they could?
In order to make sure our own people take care of their customers, we need to take care of them too. Be transparent, avoid making excuses. Take on feedback, avoid being defensive. Show them they are important to you and coach them to perform at their best.
Show them what AIESEC is really about, and the development they can achieve from it. Make every moment they spend here worthwhile, gaining the qualities and skills they need to be a globally minded leader for the world. Make it so when they leave, its because they've gotten everything they can from our incredible platform for leadership development :)

- Check out the sample email template I sent out that can help out with conversion! Make use of efficient channels (e.g. a mailing list) as well as intimate channels (e.g. individual text messages) to convert all your Opens!
- But don't slow down with Attractions or your pool will dry up - balance both attracting new Opens while also converting past ones. Look over the materials for the National OGX Campaign ('The Places You'll Go, The Things You'll Do') and see how you can turn it into physical attractions.

ICX Results
ICX 3 Weekly Priorities:
a) Lead Connected: More than half of the LC are already in Green, that mean's that they can focus they capacity in transforming those Leads in actual prospects (Lead Connected). We are have way in March and the performance and activity is pretty low! (Picture above)
b) Easter Plan: (AIESEC in ANU Idea)
During one month before holidays and mid term exams we have super keen members. This is the month to have as many meetings as we can and leave before holidays a good number of negotiations.
- Actions spaces: Peer to peer learning and activity for each member
- Track every week the performance and improvements in your goals
c) Re-raise preview partners
We have around 43 partners since 2015 and only 18% of them have continued their partnership with AIESEC. This is the easiest way to have contracts signed and EPs in Australia!
- Have I talked to these companies in the past 6 months?
- Are they still interested?

BE OUR GUEST CHALLENGE!
For us to achieve operational excellence, it's very important to understand and tailor customer intimacy. Here's the update so far!
What's Happening around the network
Congratulations unsw - 162 opens last week, 1000 opens this term
Congratulations Kelvin, Jason, Geoff, and the team at AIESEC in UNSW for hitting 162 Opens last week and 1000 from 1st February so far!
Their secret to continually achieving during Attractions peak: consistency. They're holding stalls every Monday - Thursday to build brand presence and give their new members a feel for sales, while capitalising off high foot traffic.
Looking forward to showcasing more LCs next week for excellence in Attraction!

want to brush up on your external knowledge?
We've created a group for anyone who wants to join and share articles and ideas from our external world that relate to AIESEC. It could be a company's perspective, a survey, report, video, or anything that touches on topics that relate to what we do - e.g. Asian Century, youth unemployment, globalisation, etc.
The purpose of this is for us to be more aware of what other people are saying and to see if we can potentially partner or work with these thought leaders as well :) Happy reading & sharing!
