We’ve just started our exciting B2B Marketing journey for AIESEC in Australia. Throughout this journey we’ll learn how to market effectively to businesses, to grow the amount of ICX exchanges we do.
We’re just beginning trainers on this adventure and have a lot to learn, a lot of battles to win - and lose - to get better than we currently are.

During August in the MC Office I’ll be working to earn these three badges:
#1 - Business Proposals |
Our current Global Talent and Global Entrepreneurs portfolios and proposals are out-of-date and visually unappealing. My first priority is to create a new AIESEC Portfolio that can be presented to all companies we want to partner with, which outlines what AIESEC is, our impact, and our products.
Every proposal that we send out must be tailored to the recipient company based on their wants and needs - you wouldn’t send out a Charmander to battle a Squirtle, after all! So phase two of this project is to create a Proposal Template with all the key information about our programs, but something that is easy for all LCs to edit and tailor based on the individual business they are dealing with.
#2 - Market Validation |
When starting the B2B Journey, I made the mistake of assuming that companies want to embrace digitalisation in the first place. After speaking to one of the Gym Leaders (one of our Board of Advisors members), he has helped us to develop a Market Validation framework that we’ll be using over the next month to properly understand the benefits and shortcomings of Incoming Global Talent from our partners’ perspectives, and then co-create solutions with the whole entity.
My amazing EST Vivienne Zhu (Monash) will be helping out throughout this Market Validation process. At the end of the process, we’ll know how Marketing fits in in growing iGT!

#3 - Website |
Regardless of what companies want, our previous internal and external research demonstrates that companies are not staying on our website for long enough, and are not getting the information they want. Vincey Au (USYD) and Nabila Herzegovina (RMIT), the dynamic web development duo, are developing a Companies sub-domain for our website, which will house all the relevant information and testimonials for companies who come across AIESEC online.
